Centrally situated in Castro Valley hills, the facility stands in a charming residential neighborhood surrounded by single family residential houses. The facility is licensed for 6 beds.

The house is equipped with skylights to maximize natural light into the facility where activities are provided throughout the day for our residents’ comfort.

Yes, the facility is licensed by the Department of Social Services.

 

When was Almond Road Senior Estates Established? 
The facility was established in 2008. It is one of the small scale facilities in Castro Valley.

 

Does the facility have reference to provide? 
Yes, we have a few online testimonials and a few hard copies. Please contact us for more details.

 

How many employees work in each facility? 
Usually we have 3 caregivers during the day and 2 during the night.

 

How many meals served daily? Are special diets available? 
We serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with snacks in between. Special diets are available (Ex: Low Sodium, Low Potassium)

 

Is transportation available? 
No, but we can make arrangements as needed for transportation to medical and dental appointments. We encourage the families to assist as much as possible with transportation. We also assist with Para transit application.

 

Is personal assistance provided? 
Yes, there are staffs at the facility 24 hours per day to assist the residents.

 

Does the facility provide activities? 
Yes, we have different activities set up for different days. See our schedule.

 

Are friends and visitors allowed to visit? 
Absolutely and also encouraged to visit within the visiting hours.

 

Does the facility accept Medicare or Medi-Cal benefits as a source of payment? 
No, we only accepts private funds in the form of cash or checks.
We do accept long term care coverage.
